This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent, the Inspector of Police, Allinagaram Police Station, Theni District to expedite the investigation in Crime No.414 of 2014 and file a final report. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents would submit that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner the second respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.414 of 2014 and completed the investigation and also filed a final report before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate. But, it is not yet taken cognizance till today. 4.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Theni is directed to take cognizance of the charge sheet filed by the second respondent in Crime No.414 of 2014 within a period of four weeks from the date of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
