ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a mandamus directing the respondent to dispose of his petitions dated 25.04.2016 and 16.06.2016. 2.According to the petitioner, his request for cancelling the subdivisions was rejected by the Revenue Divisional Officer, against which, he preferred revisions before the District Revenue Officer. However, the same was not considered and therefore, he moved this writ petition. 3.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent produced the proceedings of the District Revenue Officer that the revision petition was taken up for hearing in Na.Ka.Kaa.No.5/5720/2023 and was also disposed of on 02.03.2023.

4.Learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner expressed his surprise that the revisions were pending without any progress since 2016 and when this Court took cognizance of the matter, immediately the revisions were taken up and dismissed in a hurried manner, without conducting any enquiry. 2/4

5.Since the relief sought for in this writ petition is for a mandamus to dispose of the revision petitions, liberty is granted to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings of the respondent dated 02.03.2023, in the manner known to law, if so advised. Learned Additional Government Pleader is directed to furnish a copy of the proceedings of the respondent dated 02.03.2023 to the petitioner's Counsel, forthwith. With the above liberty, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
