Duraisingam : Respondents PRAYER : Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the 4th respondent / Tahsildar in his proceeding nil dated 27.07.2016 and the same in pursuance of the notice dated 22.07.2016 for peace committee meeting in Na.Ka.Aa1-182-2013, and to quash the same and consequently to direct the 2nd respondent / Superintendent of police and the 5th respondent / Inspector of Police to give police protection to the petitioner and other devotees for the Aadi Pongal festival with Mulappari mode of worship for the temple Manthaipidari Amman Temple situated in Pramanakurichi Village in the Private Patta Land with all the programs including for the Drama Valli Thirumanam with or without any condition on 09.08.2016 and 10.08.2016 on which the important part of the festival is fixed to be conducted or on any other subsequent days.
