ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to quash the impugned order, dated 27.06.2016 with a consequential direction to the 3rd respondent to post the petitioner as Electrician Grade-II in Karur Municipality.

2. Heard on either side. Perused the material documents available on record.

3. At the time of admission, this Court has granted interim order, directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to continue in the post allotted by the Commissioner, Karur Municipality, vide proceedings, dated 11.05.2015. 2/5

4. During the pendency of the writ petition, the Commissioner, Karur Municipality has submitted a proposal to the 1st respondent, vide, proceedings, dated 20.02.2023 in E4/900/2019, recommended the petitioner to the post of Technical Assistant.

5. Accordingly, the impugned order, dated 27.06.2016 is hereby quashed. The 1st respondent is directed to consider and pass orders within a period of 8 weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. There shall be no order as to costs.
