This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to release the petitioner's car bearing registration No.TN11 J 0555 which is illegally kept under their custody within the period that may be stipulated by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (criminal side) for the respondent police.

3. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) submitted that as prayed by the petitioner, the second respondent is ready to release the car, bearing registration No.TN11 J 0555, belongs to the petitioner forthwith after verifying the ownership of the car.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (criminal side), this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
