police for the offence punishable under Section 318(4), 336(2) and 340(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, in Cr.No.214 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.Heard both sides.

3.The allegations against the petitioner are that he is maintaining a weighing bridge. While so, when the vehicle was actually loaded with 44,610 Kgs of Mineral, a false receipt as if the vehicle was weighing only 36,730 Kgs of Mineral was granted. Therefore, these are cases involving plundering of Mother Nature. How long this has been going on, the total quantity of minerals, that have been taken away are all to be investigated thoroughly in this case. Therefore, this is not a fit case for granting anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
