This Criminal Original Petition had been filed for speedy trial of the casein S.C.No.94 of 2022 pending on the file of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sivagangai .

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the discharge petition filed by the accused has been dismissed and the case stands posted to 15.11.2022 for framing of charges. The learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sivagangai shall frame charges and fix the case for trial so that the trial can be taken, granting sufficient time of one month to the Station House Officer concerned to serve summons on the witness and report the availability of the witnesses so that as per the time table fixed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate witnesses can be examined and cross examined within a reasonable period of one week. Further He/She shall follow the guidelines of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case Vinod Kumar -vs- State of Punjab reported in 2015
(1) MLJ (Crl) 288 (SC) and dispose the case early.
3. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
