ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders, to direct the respondents 2 and 3 herein to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner, dated 04.09.2024.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the State would submit that the fourth respondent has filed a petition in WP(MD)No.7264 of 2022 and this Court vide order, dated 30.01.2024 disposed of the same. He would further submit that the petitioner's representation, dated 04.09.2024 is pending before the third respondent.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), the third respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as the private respondent and conduct enquiry and take a decision, by taking note of the order passed by this Court in WP(MD)No.7264 of 2022, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4 With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
