PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to call for records pertaining to the case in Crime No.24 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent Police and quash the same as against the petitioners.

O RDER This petition has been filed seeking to quash FIR in Crime No. 24 of 2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 11(5), 12 and 17 of the Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Section 506(1) IPC, on the file of the first respondent Police, insofar as the petitioners are concerned.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the first respondent Police would submit that during the pendency of this petition, the case was referred as "mistake of fact". He would further submit that nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

3. Recording the above said submission, the Criminal Original Petition stands closed.
