Respondents Prayer: Writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission with necessary police protection for conducting Kabadi match by Urakkarai M.M. Brothers Sports Club scheduled to be held on 08.01.2022 and 09.01.2022 at about morning 6.00 a.m. to evening 9.00 p.m held at nearby Periya Mariamman temple, Urakkarai, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District. For Petitioner : Mr.N.V.Nagenthiran For Respondents : Mr.M.Veeranthiran, Government Advocate.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

2.The petitioner wants to conduct the petition mentioned sports event. It is stated that there is no communal problem. Since social life has almost returned to normalcy, the second respondent is directed to grant permission to the petitioner herein to conduct the petition mentioned sports event. It is open to the second respondent to stipulate appropriate conditions to ensure the smooth conduct of the event.
