Prayer: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thanjavur to dispose the case in C.C.No.11 of 2017 pending on the file of the respondent No.1 within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the first respondent. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the private respondents is dispensed with. 2.The petitioner is the complainant in C.C.No.11 of 2017 on the file Judicial Magistrate No.I, Thanjavur. Since the case is pending for more than four years, the petitioner wants a direction for speedy disposal.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) pointed out that the petitioner had already filed Crl.O.P.(MD)No.7367 of 2020 and this Court vide order dated 15.07.2020 had given a direction for speedy disposal. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P(MD)No.20406 of 2021 He also would further state that the case is now posted for arguments.

4.Taking note of the same, the learned trial Magistrate is directed to dispose C.C.No.11 of 2017 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
