The instant writ petition has been filed challenging the show cause notice dated 06.08.2025, which seeks an explanation from the petitioner for the unauthorized absence and consequently, to direct the respondents 1 to 5 to hand over the key of the Fair Sale shop No. 24FD019PN, Thiruthangal, to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioner employed as a Salesmen in Fair Price Shop, namely, R.A 127 the Coronation Litho Workers Cooperative Stores Limited. Due to his unauthorized absence from 30.07.2025 to 06.08.2025, the respondent issued the impugned show cause notice on 06.08.2025. Challenging the same, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that, till date, the enquiry has not been concluded and the petitioner has not been allowed to rejoin duty. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition has been filed.
5. Per contra, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that pursuant to the show cause notice, the petitioner sent a reply on 09.08.2025 and that the enquiry proceedings will be concluded within a period of six weeks.

Recording the said submission, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents to conclude the enquiry proceedings within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.
