COMMON ORDER Crl.O.P.(MD)No.18778 of 2022 had been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.167 of 2022, pending on the file of the first Respondent Police.
2.Crl.O.P.(MD)No.18782 of 2022 had been filed to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.166 of 2022 pending on the file of the first Respondent Police.
3.The learned Counsel for the Petitioners submits that the Petitioners seeks to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.167 of 2022 on the file of the First Respondent. He further submits that it is a case and counter case, arising out of a temple festival. The other party had filed a Petition in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.18782 of 2022, the De-facto Complainant had entered appearance through Counsel. As per the submission of the learned Counsel for the Petitioners, there was a joint compromise entered into between the De-facto Complainant/second Respondent and the Petitioners herein. Similarly, in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.18782 of 2022 also, the parties had agreed for a compromise and entered into a joint compromise. Further, the learned Counsel for the Petitioners submitted that based 3/6
on the direction of this Court, the parties in both Criminal Original Petitions, Complainant as well as the Accused appeared along with Aadaar Card and similar identity proof before the first Respondent and it was accepted regarding the identity in the light of the above documents had been furnished along with these Petitions by both parties in Crl.O.P.(MD)Nos.18778 and 18782 of 2022. 4.In the light of the Joint Memo of Compromise arrived between the second Respondent and the Petitioners in Crl.O.P.(MD)Nos.18782 and 18778 of 2022, these Petitions are allowed and the First Information Report in Crime Nos.166 and 167 of 2022 pending on the file of the first Respondent are quashed. The Joint Compromise Memo shall form part of the order.
