The petitioner has challenged an order dated 22.07.2016 by which he had been called upon to appear in relation to the conduct of a survey in the property bearing Survey No.140/1 situated in Keelavallanadu Village, Srivaikundam Taluk, Thoothukudi District.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader has produced a communication dated 18.08.2016 by which the Tahsildar has informed the parties concerned that survey cannot be conducted.

3. In view of this subsequent development, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. By taking note of the same, W.P(MD).No.14502 of 2016 is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
