This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to give electricity service connection to the petitioner based on the representation dated 04.09.2021.

2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the first respondent submitted that if the petitioner is seeking for a service connection, an online application has to be submitted along with the relevant documents. The learned Standing Counsel further submitted that there is a pending suit between the petitioner and the second respondent and hence, on receipt of the application, the concerned authority will conduct an enquiry and take a decision on the application submitted by the petitioner.

3. Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
