O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 Police to dispose of the representation dated 28.08.2023 given by the petitioner.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner has borrowed a sum of Rs.55,000/- from the respondent No.3 by pledging his Swift car. When the petitioner wanted to redeem his car by paying the said amount along with accrued interest, the third respondent is refusing to accept the same and is not returning the vehicle. In this regard, a representation has been given to the respondents Police and there is no response. Thereby, he sought for suitable directions.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 Police submits that basing on an earlier 2/5

representation dated 02.08.2023, C.S.R.No.945 of 2023 has been given and the enquiry is being initiated. However, the petitioner has failed to appear and the enquiry is still pending. It is further submitted that the respondents Police requires some time to complete the enquiry. So far as the representation dated 28.08.2023 is concerned, it is submitted that the petitioner is stated to have sent the same by online but the Police have not received the same.

4. In view of the submissions made by both sides, the respondents Police are directed to dispose of C.S.R.No.945 of 2023 by following due process of law as quickly as possible not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
