O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to survey the property situated in S.Nos.840/1A, 855/1A1, 856/1, 856/2A, 857/1B, 857/5B and 857/6 in Sivayam South Village, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District, by considering the petitioner's application dated 14.07.2025.

2. Heard the arguments of Mr.A.N.Ramanathan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.M.Vaikkam 2/6

Karunanithi, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), who takes notice for the 4th respondent. Since no adverse order is going to be passed against the 5th respondent, notice to him is dispensed with.

3. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

4. The petitioner claims right under the settlement deed executed by his father Manickam Pillai dated 24.12.2012. The patta for the said property stands in the name of the petitioner, as seen from the various pattas produced in the typed set of papers and additional typed set of papers dated 20.08.2025. The petitioner submitted an application on 14.07.2025 in application No.2025/0123/14/004858, seeking survey of the property and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner will be considered in accordance with law. 3/6

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to consider the application of the petitioner dated 14.07.2025 and pass final orders on it's own merits, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioner, neighbouring land owners and other interest parties.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
