28.07.2024 for the offences punishable under Sections 87 of the BNS, 2023 and Section 5(l) r/w. 6(1) of the POCSO Act, in crime No.70 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, it is reported on behalf of the prosecution that on a analysis of the petitioner's mobile phone, the disturbing images of the victim child is retrieved. In view thereof, I am not able to agree with the contention of the learned counsel for the petitioner. Though it is a simple case of a love affair and elopement, in view of the serious nature of offences, this is not a fit case for enlarging the petitioner on bail.
