(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) The writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus, directing the first respondent to initiate appropriate action against the second respondent for having failed to encash the demand draft of the candidates submitted in response to the Notification dated 14.08.2015 and consequently to direct the respondents to complete the recruitment process initiated in pursuant to the Notification dated 14.08.2015 issued by the second respondent for appointment to various posts in the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department within a time frame.

Today, when the writ petition was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the relief sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous. He has made an endorsement to that effect.

Recording the said submission and endorsement, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
