ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

It is informed by the learned counsel for the third respondent that the petitioner is one of the accused in Crime No.415 of 2020 dated 29.09.2020 for the offences under Sections 294(b) of IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002. Learned counsel for the third respondent would further submit that charge sheet has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi and the same has been taken on file in C.C.No.899 of 2024.
3. Considering the same, there is no scope for giving any positive direction to the first respondent to process the application of the petitioner in view of Section 6(2)(f) of the Passport Act, 1967. However, petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh application after securing appropriate orders from the Judicial Magistrate Court, Tenkasi, for processing the passport application before the first respondent.
4. Writ Petition stands disposed with the above observation. No costs.
