ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in connection with the impugned complaint in Crime No.162 of 2013 dated 29.05.2013 pending on the file of the first respondent police and quash the same in so far as the petitioner is concerned. 2.The petitioner is the accused in Crime No.162 of 2013, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 294(B), 323, 324, 427, 506(2) of IPC r/w 3(1)(X) of SC/ST Act and Section 4 of TNPWH. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that, even after lapse of 10 years, investigation has not been completed and final report was not filed. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the first respondent police would submit that after completion of investigation in Crime No.

162 of 2013 has been completed, final report was made ready and it has not been presented before the concerned Court within 15 days. He further submitted that some of the accused names were deleted in the FIR, over which, notice has been served to the defacto complainant. 4.Considering the oldness of crime, there shall be direction to the respondent police to file final report before the concerned Court, within fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
