Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to issue the order declaring equivalency of the degree in B.Sc. (Applied Microbiology) is equivalent to B.Sc. Botany to teach Botany/Zoology at school education.

The Contempt Petition is filed to punish the contemnor / respondent for his wilful disobedience of the orders passed by this Court in WP(MD).No.13507 of 2014, dated 20.11.2020.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that Equivalency committee was formed and the Committee has stated B.Sc., (Applied Micro Biology) is not equivalent to Botany.
