Heard Mr.Henri Tipagne, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

2.This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction against the first respondent/District Collector, Madurai to dispose of the proceeding, which has been pending in Na.Ka.No.11/59521/2011, which evidently means that it has been pending for several years before the first respondent herein. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader stated that the proceedings is now under the consideration of the second respondent/District Revenue Officer, Madurai. 4.Since it under active consideration of the second respondent, it may not be appropriate on my part to examine the merits and demerits of the case of the petitioner, as pointed either by the learned Counsel for the petitioner or by the learned Additional Government Pleader. 5.I am informed that final hearing had been completed. An obligation therefore rests on the second respondent to pass necessary orders on or before 15.03.2022 after examining the records and after examining the various contentions.
