Writ Petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.06.2016 and 13.08.2016 to take appropriate action for increasing the seat capacity of tourist van. The petitioner seeks a mandamus directing the respondent to consider his representations dated 16.06.2016 and 13.08.2016 and permit him to increase the seating capacity of his tourist van.

2. Mrs.J.Padmavathy Devi, learned Special Government Pleader who has accepted notice on behalf of the respondents states orally on instructions that the request of the petitioner cannot be acceded to. But no counter has been filed in this matter to set out the stand of the respondent.

3. In the light of the concurrence expressed by the learned Special Government Pleader, mandamus is issued to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representations dated 16.06.2016 and 1308.2016 within a period of six weeks from today after hearing the petitioner in person.

4. This writ petition is disposed in the abovesaid terms. No costs.
