subsequent suspension order issued by the 1st respondent in Roc.No. 728/2019/RD.2(1) dated 31.05.2019 and not permitting the petitioner to retire on 31.05.2019 vide proceedings in Roc.No.728/2019/RD.2(2) dated 31.05.2019 and quash the same as illegal and unconstitutional and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to join his duties and pay all back wages and attendant benefits within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 2.According to the prayer, the writ petition is challenging the charge memo dated 29.05.2009 and its subsequent suspension. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would invite the attention of this Court about the death of the petitioner and he has also produced a copy of the death certificate in Registration No.D-2024-33-15895-000014 to that effect. 2/4

4.From the perusal of the death certificate, it is seen that the petitioner died on 20.01.2024. Therefore, the charge framed against the petitioner got abated.

5.In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently,connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 31.10.2025 Ns Index : Yes/No To 1.The District Collector, Dindigul District, Dindigul.
