PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to withdraw and transfer the investigation in Crime No.380 of 2012 on the file of the 3rd respondent to any other impartial Investigation Agency preferably to the 4th respondent and to expedite the investigation. For Petitioner :Mr.L.Siva For Respondents :Mr.M.Sakthi Kumar Government Advocate (Crl. Side) O RDER This petition has been filed seeking a direction to transfer the investigation in Crime No.380 of 2012 on the file of the 3rd respondent to any other impartial Investigation Agency preferably to the 4th respondent and to expedite the investigation.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that inspite of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.2950 of 2017 transferring the investigation to the third respondent, no progress has been made.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that in pursuance of the above said order, the third respondent is taking up the 2/5

investigation and sent two letters to the Forensic Lab seeking report. So far the report has not been received.

4.Considering the oldness of the matter, fresh request may be made by the investigating officer to the forensic lab to sent report at the earliest. after receiving the report, let investigation be completed within a period of three months, and file final report.

5.With the above said directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
