O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 Police to provide police protection to the petitioner and her children by conducting enquiry and taking action against the third respondent.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner's husband has borrowed a sum of Rs.18,00,000/- (Rupees Eighteen Lakhs only) as loan from the State Bank of India, Thadikombu Road Branch and her husband unforuntately passed away on 06.02.2020. The third respondent, who is the collection Agent of the State Bank of India, has been harassing the petitioner to pay back the amount without co-operating in respect of getting insurance amount as per the schemes available in the Bank and therefore, the petitioner has made a representation on 23.08.2023 before the respondents Police and the same has not been attended to by the Police.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents submits that the enquiry has already been initiated and the representation of the petitioner will be disposed as quickly as possible.

Considering the submissions made by both sides, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondents 1 and 2 Police to complete the enquiry in the representation given by the petitioner on 23.08.2023 and dispose of the same as quickly as possible not later than two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
