ORDER
This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to disburse the amount of Rs.42,19,835/- towards transportation and handling charges payable to the petitioner for the contract period from 2014-2015 and 2015-2016 under the scheme for priceless articles distribution forthwith to the petitioner.
2.When the writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents by producing a copy of the letter dated 11.07.2017 of the petitioner addressed to the 1st respondent and a copy of the cheque bearing No.501450 dated 12.01.2017 submits that the petitioner himself has admitted that though he has claimed a sum of Rs.42,19,835/-, he is entitled for a sum of Rs.23,76,413/-.
3.Recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs. 27.11.2023 dsk 2/4
