Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to remove the order of attachment made over the petitioner's properties mentioned in G.O.Ms.No.444, Home (Police XIX) Department dated 05.06.2009 based on the representation dated 09.10.2021 within a time frame fixed by this Court. Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The petitioner wants removal of attachment made over the petition mentioned properties. The petitioner's counsel submitted that since he is not a party to the proceedings, he will not have locus standi to move the Special Court.

W.P.(MD)No.22585 of 2021 3.This contention is without any basis. Any aggrieved person can apply to the Special Court for removal of attachment. I permit the petitioner to file an application before the concerned Special Court. The concerned Special Court will consider the same and give disposal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of sixteen weeks after such an application is filed. 4.With this liberty and direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
