Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the landed properties comprised in S.Nos.866/7 and 8, Mavathur Village, Kadavur Taluk, Karur District based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.08.2021 to the respondents and furnish the survey report within a time frame fixed by this Court.

Mr.J.John Rajadurai, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of both the respondents.
2.The petitioner had made a representation on 23.08.2021 and had also paid necessary charges seeking survey to be conducted and the boundaries to be demarcated of the property in S.Nos.866/7 and 866/8 at Mavathur Village, Kadavur Taluk in Karur District. 3.The petitioner claims that he had purchased the said property, which measures 0.07.0 hectares equivalent to 0.17 acres in S.No.866/7 and 0.88.0 hectares equivalent to 2.17 acres in S.No.866/8. He claims to be in possession of the property. He claims that Patta No.3668 had been given to him in this property. He now requires survey to be conducted and the boundaries to be demarcated. Necessary application has be filed and necessary fees has been paid.
4.A direction is given to the respondents 1 and 2 to proceed further on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner herein and issue notice to the petitioner, examine the lands of the petitioner, examine the documents of the petitioner, come to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD) No.22394 of 2021 personal satisfaction and after that proceed, if the records are otherwise in order to conduct survey and to demarcate the boundaries. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
