ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to dispose of the application preferred by the petitioner, dated 06.08.2019, in the light of the order passed by the first respondent, dated 29.07.2019, within the time period stipulated by this Court.

2.Mr.A.Thiagarajan, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

3.According to the petitioner, he is working as Secondary Grade Teacher at Panchayat Union Primary School, Venkateswarapuram https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD) No.22668 of 2019 (Palay Rural Block), Tirunelveli District. While in service, he was imposed with two punishments of stoppage of increment for a period of three years with cumulative effect and transferred to another union. The petitioner has challenged the said order in an appeal before the first respondent. The first respondent, by the order dated 29.07.2019, has confirmed the punishment of stoppage of increment for three years with cumulative effect and with regard to the transfer to another union, directed the petitioner to approach the second respondent. In view of the same, the petitioner has given an application to the second respondent on 06.08.2019. However, the same has not been considered, so far. Hence, the petitioner has come out with the present Writ Petition. 4.

Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, without deciding the issues on merits, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the second respondent to consider the application given by the petitioner dated 06.08.2019, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
