PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the Respondents 1 to 3 to produce the body or person of the detenue namely, Pandiselvi, Daughter of Raja, aged about 19 years, before this Court and set her liberty forthwith. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by A.D.JAGADISH CHANDIRA,J.) This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to direct the respondents to produce the person or body of the petitioner's daughter, namely, Pandiselvi, Daughter of Raja, aged about 19 years, before this Court and to entrust her custody to the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. When the matter is taken up today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner's

husband in respect of the missing of his daughter an enquiry was conducted in CSR.No.669 of 2025. The missing person was found to have married the fourth respondent. She along with her husband had appeared before the respondent police for enquiry. The petitioner's husband was also attended the enquiry and during enquiry, he was aware of his daughter getting married with the fourth respondent and she has also expressed her unwillingness to go along with the parents. Moreover, the detenu has also filed a complaint seeking protection from the petitioner and her husband.

4. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed. No Costs. The 2nd and 3rd respondents shall give protection to Pandiselvi and her husband.
