For Respondent : Mr.R.Meenakshi Sundaram, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR BAIL Under Sec.439 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :-For Bail in Crime No.215 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/Accused No.3 herein, who was arrested on 08.11.2021 for the alleged offence under Sections 392 IPC in Crime No.215 of 2021, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that when the defacto complainant grazing his cows in a field, four identifiable persons came by auto in the guise of enquiring about the way to Ponnamaravathi, snatched the gold thali and chain worth about 4 soverings. Hence, the complaint.

3.Reading of the FIR shows that these persons are involved in such serious crime. Even though the petitioner is not involved in similar case, the 2nd and 3rd accused are involved in similar nature of offence. Knowing the above said fact, the learned Principal District Judge, Pudukottai, dismissed the petition and directed the concerned Judicial Magistrate to expedite the trial process and complete the same, within a period of three months from the date of the above said order.

CRL OP(MD). No.20100 of 2021 4.Considering the manner in which the offences have taken place, the petitioner is not entitled for bail and if he is released on bail, there is a possibility of tampering the evidence. I find no merit in this matter.
