This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents, particularly, the first respondent to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner life and limb at D.No.136, Jeganantha Thevar Complex, North Car Street, Srivilliputhur Town, Virudhunagar District, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 28.11.2018.

2. Heard both sides.

3. There are civil proceedings pending between the petitioner and the third respondent. While being so, the petitioner now seeking police protection to him, so that he is unable to run the shop. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner after issuing notice to the third respondent and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law.
