PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing to the 1st respondent to provide an appointment order as per the eligibility of the petitioner under compassionate ground relating to the Application acknowledgement in Oo.Mu.No. 2033/2008/Vuu.Va.13 dated 28.02.2008 issued by the 1st respondent. ORDER

The instant writ petition has been filed by the daughter of the deceased mother, who was working as a Noon-Meal Assistant, seeking a mandamus to consider her representations for appointment on compassionate ground, based on the communication issued by the 1st respondent dated 28.02.2008.

2. A perusal of the affidavit indicates that the petitioner's mother, who was working as Noon-Meal Assistant had passed away on 11.12.2006 and the petitioner has submitted an application on 08.02.2008 to the first respondent 2/4

seeking compassionate appointment. Sofar the appointment has not been made. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader and the Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 20.12.2022 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
