O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for direction to direct the respondents to file the final report in Crime No.84 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police.

2.Originally, the case was registered on 23.06.2014 by the first respondent for the offences under Section 120B, 468, 420, 147, 294(b) and 506(i) IPC. However, the investigation was not conducted properly by the first respondent. Therefore, at the instance of the Superintendent of Police, Madurai District, the case has been transferred from the file of the first respondent to the second respondent.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that the investigation in Crime No.84 of 2014 is almost completed and the respondent police have only to file final report.

CRL.O.P (MD)No.15891 of 2019 4.Considering the facts and circumstance of the case, this Court directs the second respondent police to file a final report within a period of two weeks from the date of the receipt of a copy of this Order.
