O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents Police for expeditious completion of investigation in Crime No.10 of 2023 dated 28.04.2023 and to file a final report.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that on the complaint given by the petitioner/defacto complainant, the Police have registered a case in Crime No.10 of 2023 on 28.04.2023 for the offence punishable under Sections 406 and 420 IPC. The investigation is still pending and thereby, he sought for suitable directions.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents, on the other hand, submits that the police have examined two witnesses so far and the investigation is in progress. He requests short time to complete the investigation and file the final report.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the respondent Police to 2/4
