ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble The ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE] This Writ Petition is filed, seeking for a direction to the respondents to provide town bus facilities from Kudalnagar Railway Junction, Madurai and to provide sufficient drinking water, street lights, toilets and other basic facilities in Kudalnagar Railway Junction and to remove bushes and keep the Kudalnagar Railway Junction, Madurai clean.

2.It is the grievance of the petitioner that his representation dated 15.12.2018, requesting to provide basic facilities in Kudalnagar Railway Junction, has not been considered so far. Hence, he has filed this Writ Petition.

3.The learned Deputy Solicitor General of India appearing for the respondents 1 and 3, by relying upon the counter affidavit filed by the respondents 1 to 3, would submit that sufficient water supply is available in Kudalnagar Railway Junction and over head tank with 90000 litres capacity and 2000 litres capacity sintex tanks are also available and further, thorny bushes were also cleared by the station staff wherever necessary in order to keep the station neat and clean. At present, there is no lack of basic facilities in the station and further, it will be ensured that no passengers will be suffered at any time by lack of basic facilities and it will be provided depending upon the need of the passengers. 4.In view of the subsequent development, no further order is required to be passed in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
