ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 506(i) IPC in Crime No.18 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and other accused persons received huge money from the defacto complainant by giving false promise of getting government job and thereafter, failed to do so. Hence, the case.

CRL OP(MD)No.18698 of 2022 3.Heard and perused the materials available in the records. 4.It is seen that all the accused persons jointly collected Rs.22 Lakhs from the defacto complainant in order to get government job. Thereafter, they failed to get any job and also refused to return the money. Therefore, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much necessary in this case. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
