ORDER : The Court made the following order:- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A1 was arrested on 21/11/2021 and remanded to judicial custody for the offences punishable under sections 468, 420, 120(B) IPC r/w 66(D) of Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008, in Crime No.8 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the accused persons approached the de-facto complainant and told that they were coming from Chola Finance Limited and offering loan for lesser amount and requested the de-facto complainant to arrange 12 persons and they were also offered Rs.1,00,000/- to each members and collected documents and subsequently, the de-facto complainant paid Rs29,400/- in favour of this petitioner on his demand as premium for insurance. But however, neither provided loan nor repaid the said amount to the de-facto complainant.

3.The bail application that was filed by this petitioner in Cr.MP No.2779 of 2021 before the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Virudhunagar @ Srivilliputtur came to be dismissed on 08/12/2021.

Crl.OP(MD)No.20102 of 2021 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent furnished the list of cases filed against this petitioner. On perusal of the above list shows that all the cases that have been registered against this petitioner stand disposed of. 5.Considering the duration of the custody of this petitioner and he is not involved in similar nature of offence and since the major portion of the investigation might have been over by this time, this court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions.

6.Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Virudhunagar and on further condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.29,400/- to the credit of Crime No.8 of 2021 and on further condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.
