ORDER
The petitioners with an allegation that the respondent police is harassing them under the guise of an enquiry have approached this Court.
2.The nature of the complaint is that the petitioners have received advance amount for executing sale deed from the third respondent, but they have failed to execute the document. Therefore, the third respondent has lodged a complaint.
3.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the official respondents submits that based on the complaint of the third respondent, petition enquiry has been initiated in CSR.No.447 of 2025 and the same is pending.
4.The very nature of the complaint appears to be a civil dispute. However, the respondent Police have entertained the complaint of the 2/4
third respondent by treating the same as petition enquiry. Therefore, this criminal original petition is allowed with a direction to the respondent Police not to harass the petitioners.
