ORDER
The Petitioner has prayed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to complete the proceedings in
Na.Ka.A4/4982/2022 within the time stipulated by this Court, only in respect of S.No.75/1, situated at Mangattendal Village, Kalayarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District.
2.Mr.D.Sadiq Raja, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 3.The case of the Petitioner is that the Petitioner had purchased punja lands in S.Nos.76/1, 76/2, 75/1, 75/2, 75/3, 74/6, 79/5, 79/6, 79/7 and 76/2 situated at Mangattendal Village, Kalayarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District by way of registered sale deed from one Karuppan@ Karuppanan through his power of attorney and the Petitioner had also submitted an application to the third respondent on 29.04.2022 in this regard. After purchase of the above said lands, patta was mutated in the name of the Petitioner in patta No.701 and there is a mistake in the Adangal in the reference column classifying the land as ''Oorani''.
In all the revenue records, the above said lands have been mentioned as ''punja lands'', however, in the computerized ''A'' Register, it has been wrongly mentioned. Therefore, the Petitioner submitted an application on 29.4.2022 to the third respondent requesting him to remove the above wrong entry in the computerized ''A'' Register and thereafter, the same was forwarded to the second respondent on 9.5.2022.
second respondent issued an enquiry notice on 5.7.2022 in Na.Ka.A4/4982/2022, for which, the Petitioner has appeared and the Petitioner came to know that except S.No.75/1, all the wrong entries have been removed in respect of all other survey numbers in the computerized ''A'' Register. However, the second respondent had failed to remove the wrong entry in the computerized ''A'' Register in respect of S.No.75/1. Hence the Petitioner has filed this Writ Petition for the relief stated supra. 4.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the Petitioner's claim in the present Writ Petition will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed based on his representation dated 29.4.2022, on merits and in accordance with law, within the time specified by this Court. 5.
In view of the above submission, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the second respondent to complete the proceedings in Na.Ka.A4/4982/2022 only in respect of S.No.75/1, situated at Mangattendal Village, Kalayarkovil Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on his application/representation, dated 29.04.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
