Both learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents confirm that the vehicle in question ie., JCB bearing Registration No.TN-69-AF-9770 has been released on 04.09.2016. Hence, nothing survives in this Writ Petition.

2.In view of the aforesaid, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
