O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to defer all the further proceedings in P.R.No.21/F1/2016 dated 13.02.2016 till the conclusion of the criminal case in Cr.No.107 of 2015 registered by the 3rd respondent.

2. During the course of hearing, the learned Government Advocate submits that the sole petitioner expired on 26.04.2022.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner also endorsed the statement of the learned Government Advocate.

4. The learned Government Advocate has also placed a copy of the document bearing D.No.2126/2022 dated 28.11.2022

addressed to the Superintendent of Police, Theni District, Theni, wherein, it is mentioned that the Inspector of Police, Dindigul Taluk Police Station has submitted true copy of death certificate for A2, who died on 26.04.2022 along with memo on 16.06.2022 and on a careful perusal of the same, the learned Sessions Judge, Fast Track Mahila Court, Dindigul is pleased to pass an order ''Charge against A2 abated''.

5. The said document is placed on record.

6. In view of the submissions made by the respective counsels, nothing survives in this Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed as abated. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
