Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The writ petitioner was a retired employee of TANGEDCO. He claims to be a member of the New Health Insurance Scheme, 2012. The petitioner retired from service in 2013. In 2020, he was afflicted with Covid-19 Pandemic 2/4

and he took treatment in Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Madurai. He seeks reimbursement.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the Insurance Company points out that till date, they have not even received recommendation from the second respondent or the Commissioner of Treasuries.

4. It appears that the papers are with the second respondent. The second respondent is directed to process the petitioner's application and if the papers are found to be in order, forward the same to the 6th respondent. The 6th respondent in turn will consider the application and if it is found to be in order, forward the same to the 4th respondent. The 4th respondent will thereafter pay what according to them is the eligible amount. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
