This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to defer further proceedings in his proceedings No.M1/MD/MDU/41522-K/ENF-C/2015 dated 20.08.15 till the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court on a similar issue. 2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that since the similar issue regarding that whether the other allowances are to be included in the definition of 'Basic Wages' under Section 2(b) of the EPF and MP Act, the petitioner seeks to defer the impugned proceedings. 3.Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 4.This Court is not inclined to grant the relief sought for. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
