Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondents to make patta No. 2023/0103/21368891, dated 17.04.2023 in respect of the properties in S.Nos.321/7, 3218, 322/1C, 322/1C2, 322/7 and 322/8 situated at Vannankadu, Venkarai Village, Orathanadu Taluk, Thanjavur District within the time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner with a grievance that his application for issuance of patta has not been considered by the respondents, has filed this writ petition. 2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submits that the petitioner has sought patta for several survey numbers of which, there are disputes in respect of four survey numbers and therefore, they need some time to pass orders.

3.Considering the above submission and considering that this writ petition is pending nearly for the past six months, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's application on merits and in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
