Tender Notification published by the Block Development Officer, Rajakkamangalam Panchayat Union, Kanyakumari District/the fifth respondent herein vide Proceedings in A2/1997/2018 dated 29.08.2018 is under challenge in this writ petition. 2/6
2.The petitioner has submitted his application as per the tender notification, dated 29.08.2018. However, his application was not considered in view of the order passed as against this petitioner by the Rajakkamangalam Panchayat. Aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus in the year 2018. 3.On 01.12.2023, when this writ petition was taken up for hearing, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, this writ petition was ordered to be listed today under the caption 'for dismissal'. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents by referring the counter affidavit submits that the petitioner was debarred for life time in Rajakkamangalam Panchayat Union vide Panchayat Union Council Resolution No.215, dated 3/6
08.01.2010. In view of the same, the application submitted by the petitioner was not considered by the respondents. 5.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate that the petitioner has been debarred by the Rajakkamangalam Union and considering the fact that there is no representation for the petitioner for the last two hearings even after this writ petition was listed under the caption for dismissal, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
