2. It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/defacto complainant that though C.C.No.74 of 2018 has been registered on a complaint given by him, the trial could not be proceeded with inspite of lapse of five years and thereby, sought for suitable directions.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents Police submits that the case has been posted on 09.11.2023 for recording the evidence of L.W.1 to L.W.3 and the respondent Police would produce all the witnesses as directed by the trial Court.

4. Considering the submissions made by both sides, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Nagercoil, to dispose of C.C.No.74 of 2018 as quickly as possible not later than six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
