ORDER
The Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.21 of 2007, pending on the file of the District Munsif, Lalgudi, within a specified time fixed by this Court.
2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioners. Since the revision petition is filed for early disposal of the case, the issuance of notice to the respondents is not necessary. 2/4
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the first respondent/plaintiff has filed the suit for partition and the same is pending in O.S.No.21 of 2007. He would further submit that some of the parties were reported dead and steps were taken and that subsequently, the plaintiff has failed to take consequential steps and the suit is pending for more than sixteen years and that therefore, the trial has to be expedited.
4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the suit was filed in the year 2007, the learned District Munsif, Lalgudi, is hereby directed to complete the trial and dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the above observation and direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
